"Great family owned place with mother and son + a tight knit team creating an amazing atmosphere that is a mixture of warmth, welcome, friendliness, relaxation and enjoyment. The food is always creative & super delicious. The wines are great. What more can you ask for? Adding a new section to my post in Nov 2020... covid lockdown: Il Gattopardo is offering delicious take away, allowing its customers to enjoy some of that amazing experience at home during this very difficult and depressing time for everyone."

"Great little Italian place, a few minutes by tram from the town center. Has a good balance between being a neighborhood spot and a fancy dining place. Both pasta dishes were great, so was the starter (bread salad with fried octopus) and the tiramisu."

"I cannot say enough how wonderful our meal was! We ate at the restaurant on December 14, and it was the best Italian meal my wife and I have had in years. The manager helped to translate the menu for us, and was completely accommodating to adjust one of the pasta dishes as my wife does not eat seafood. The red sauce they use on the zucchini parmesan appetizer was so hearty and flavorful we savored every bite. The freshness and flavors of everything we ate was wonderful and the service was impeccable. Il Gattopardo is truly a gem in Munich."
